My 11 months old nephew is diagnosed with urinary infection. Urine culture report says E-Coli Grown in Culture. Are there any oral antibiotics for this ? Is this harmful ?

Urine infection in children once detected should be treated promptly to avoid complications. A Pediatrician is sufficient. Urologist is needed only if surgery is indicated.

Urinary infection in children is always treated with oral antibiotics unless they are very sick in which case they need to be hospitalised for IV antibiotics.
A tight foreskin and physiological phimosis can be a cause for UTI and should be addressed appropriately.
Any fever associated with UTI is a matter of greater concern and would require in depth analysis.
Please show him to a Paediatrician or a Paediatric Urologist.
