upper‑abdominal discomfort is typical of gas/reflux or non‑cardiac chest pain rather than heart disease, especially when endoscopy shows only mild antral gastritis.Carry your endoscopy report and spine report to a gastroenterologist and possibly a cardiologist for one‑time evaluation.Proton‑pump inhibitor (PPI) like pantoprazole/omeprazole before breakfast for 4–8 weeks, sometimes plus an H2 blocker or antacid as needed.
Next Steps
Eat small, frequent meals; avoid large, late‑night or very spicy/oily meals that increase acid and gas.
Health Tips
ecg for cardiac cause .

Your symptoms sound like what we call Dyspepsia and acid reflux. It is basically acid from your stomach kicking back up the food pipe (Oesophagus) and this causes the food pipe to go into a spasm causing your symptoms. The endoscopy can be normal with these symptoms. Do the following 1. Avoid food/s that trigger your symptoms 2. Smoking cessation and alcohol avoidance along with addressing if overweight 3. Four weeks of medication with Omeprazole 20mg (please do not take the combination with Domperidone as we now have concerns using Domperidone due to serious heart complications). 4. Blood tests (if not already done)- CBP, Liver function test, TSH, HbA1C and Calcium levels 5. Ultrasound abdomen (if not already done) to look for any evidence of gallstones 5.Routine ECG All the best J G S R clinic
