I have dry eyes for which I use lubricating drops. But I also get eye itching sometimes..I already have nasal allergy/allergic rhinitis which causes me post nasal drip. So I believe that itching in eyes could also be from allergies. If I use olpatadine OTC drops to manage this, will antihistamine eye drop make underlying dry eye worse...dry eyes is reported as a side effect of antihistamine eye drop on the labels. Kindly suggest me a way to manage both dry eyes and itching effectively.

You can use olopat alongwith lubricants . If lubricant eye drops are not adequate , you can also use lubricant eye gel at bedtime like lacrigel or duralub EG .
