I had lasik surgery 2 years ago, after that I had 0 power in left eye and for right eye I had 0.5 spl and 1 cyl and I am not using spects.
Now right eye had some blurred vision, the size of eye also changing, difficult in blinking like dry eye symptoms but my left eye is ok.
I think I had dry eyes, doctor is saying that dry eyes after lasik is temporary.
Is dry eyes caused due to lasik?
What is the permanent solution?

Hello,
Yes, after LASIK dry eyes is temporary. But there are lot of variables involved in this equation viz any ongoing infection of eyelids like blepharitis/ meibomitis/ digital eye strain etc that can contribute to recurring episodes of dry eyes.
Start UV lube eyedrops 2 times a day for 1 month,Genteal eyedrops 4 times a day and genteal gel once at night depending on severity of dryness ,after consulting an ophthalmologist.
Health Tips
reduce screen time, maintain lid hygiene, include omega 3 fatty acids in diet(flax seeds/fish)
Are you a regular computer user if so the problem of dry eue is likely to remain or even aggravated due to computer vision syndrome.
