  4. Dry eyes problem. Advices to tackle it?

Dry eyes problem
I have dry eyes since 2 months, and schirmer level was 8 and 10 for 1 minute, is it good? Doctor has prescribed lubricating drops for me, how much time will it take to completely relieve from dry eyes? Will dry eyes happen again if I take precautions? What can be the reason for dry eyes? What advices to tackle it?

Hi, Excess screen time,  dust , pollution etc can cause dry eye. Can continue lubricating drops. Lifestyle modification- while working on computer, every 20 minutes, take a 20 second break and look at a distant object 20 feet away. Keep yourself hydrated. Blink more often. Stay away from ac and fan. You can use plano antireflective/ blue lens glasses while using computer.
