I am having Dry cough from last 4 mon
ths ..it become worst in sleep time usually ,Had taken several antibiotics & many cough syrup prescriptions from local doctors temporary ok but nothing helped permanently .I am 33 male having RHD MS ,Done ballooning 2 times & taking MetXL BD ,Aquazide 12.5 OD & Pentidure 12 LA 21 days each , After consult with my cardiac consult at AIIMS new Delhi he found everything ok with Heart but said to go for PA view X-ray & consultaion with Chest Specialist.
I am taking Steam from 15-20 days from water steamer & some antibiotics & cough syrup from local doctors but it's is not helping anymore.
I am having constipation issue & gastric problem ,taking laxative for bowel clearance from 15 days & found it effective .
I don't drink & smoke ,no other drugs .

With your age and above given cardiac history of RHD/MS you should rule out gastro oesophageal reflux disease, post nasal drip, bronchitis, and last to rule out heart failure

To have visit pulmonolgist with all your previous reports , chest xray and for physical examination
Would need to rule out post nasal drip and asthma. You can get done xray PNS , PFT, chest Xray Pa and serum IgE level. Consult your pulmonologist with these tests
