Dosage for cough
Hi doctor, My daughter is 2 yrs old and 11 kg. She is coughing. I want to know the dosage for Ascoril LS drops.

Always first find out the cause and then only medicine should be given as repeatedly medicine can cause problems, ideally there should not be any cough medicine to be given as it's q reflux of some problem in airways, throat, post nasal dribbling irritated throat, so for root cause treated it will go away

Please give her syrup 3.5ml . Avoid drops after 1yr age.

It is better to go for syrup rather than drop and don’t start any cough medicine on your own, chest need to examined before prescribing the cough medicine
