Greetings Sticking the tongue out is highly common and typically a normal, benign behavior for a 2.5-year-old child.Toddlers frequently do this out of habit, to mimic others, or as a natural way to explore their oral muscles. It is often a subconscious sign of deep focus and concentration while they are actively playing with toys.Since your son is happy and playing normally, this is most likely just a temporary developmental phase. You should only observe if he is constantly mouth-breathing or experiencing any trouble swallowing his food.

Usually no treatment required, maintain good oral hygiene . Give plenty of water and maintain adequate hydration . Avoid spicy, acidic, or very hot foods if the child complains of burning.
Next Steps
Is the child having fever? Is there pain or burning while eating? Can the white coating be scraped off with a gauze or tongue cleaner?

Photo dekhkar lag raha hai ki tongue par halka sa color change ya coating ho sakti hai, lekin itni chhoti image se exact diagnosis possible nahi hai. Agar aapka 2.5 saal ka beta active hai, achhe se kha-pi raha hai, fever ya pain nahi hai, to zyada ghabrane ki zarurat nahi lagti. Agar tongue par white patch ho jo saaf na ho, dard ho, ulcers ho, badbu aaye, ya ye problem 1–2 weeks se zyada rahe, to aap mujhe contact kar skte hai
Next Steps
Bacche ko paani aur balanced diet dijiye. Roz soft toothbrush ya tongue cleaning ki aadat dalwayein. Agar bukhar, khana na khana, ya tongue ki problem badhe to doctor se consult karein.

This looks like geographic tongue, a common and harmless condition. It is not an infection or a vitamin deficiency in most children and usually does not require any treatment. If your child is eating well, active, and has no pain, there is nothing to worry about. The appearance of the tongue may change over time and can come and go. If there is pain or burning while eating spicy or acidic foods, avoid those foods for a few days. If the patches persist for many weeks, become painful, develop ulcers, or your child has poor growth or recurrent mouth sores, please consult a pediatrician for an examination.
