Hello, my father has got a dog bite and he has taken anti septic injection and also anti rabies injection within less than 3 hours.
Can you help us in knowing if any tablets are required and what needs to be done and also what are the foods that have to be taken more and that foods have to be avoided??
Also what needs to be done to take care for him?

Your father has to take full course of Anti rabies vaccine.
Depending on the extent of the wound he may have to take antibiotics for a few days.
He can take all foods. No food need to be avoided.
He needs TLC (Tender Loving Care).

Does not need any tablet or specific food advice except antibiotic if wound was dirty or looks infected. Complete antirabies vaccination schedule as advised. Keep you wound clean, do daily dressing. Watch for any signs/symptoms of rabies and consult doctor immediately. Watch the Dog atleast for 7 days for signs/symptoms of rabies.
