Hi,
By 2 years normally they will start speaking many words
Child needs detailed assessment
Needs to know about other development also
May require ENT and speech therapist opinion too
Initially you you can get a detailed assess ment by nearby paediatrician/developmental paediatrician
After assessment they will send you for other opinions
Hi. Your son needs assessment by pediatrician. If its isolated speech delay with normal hearing, speech therapy will help him learn speech faster. Its advisable to get a personal appointment with your pediatrician and get him assessed early.
Health Tips
I the mean time send extra 1hr with him to encourage speech. let him plan with other kids as he will learn from them faster than we teaching
He has to be evaluated by both a pediatrician and speech therapist. We need to know how is his language reception, understanding and the number of meaningful other words he is speaking. ASD also had to be ruled out. Speech stimulation therapy has been providing excellent results in most of these children.
