My 19 month old son is not talking much
My 19 month old son speaks 5-6 words only. And not frequently whenever he is in mood.
He understands my instructions and follows it. He points out all subjects and he responds whenever we call his name. He recognises all fruits, animals,abcd,numbers and shows them.
We consulted the pediatrician and he said we can wait till he hits 2 years.We live in nuclear family.
Please guide me on this more.

If u r using multiple languages wd ur kid or he sees cartoons in multiple languages ,that may delay speech . Use a single language preferably the mother tongue

Just make sure ur child plays with other kids, decrease screening time, avoid phones during feeding,, till 2 yr u can wait
