Yes weight training could hinder your growth in length or height but it is rather a tactical point to make you understand simply is weight training may add on muscle bulk so the entire focus of your body nutrition will be directed to that rather than supporting the other dimension of growth.

Hello there,,,, Well anything in modern medical science is based on research and published studies carried out....there is no mention anywher in literature where it is stated that lifting weights above head or for that matter lifting weights would stun your growth or limit your height increase..... however u mentioned weather weight lifting would damage your bones...there could be possibility but rather than bones if u dont do weight training properly or under supersion you would have ligament, tendon problems......and if u r deficient in calcium then bones would also suffer..... And yes you have a BMI of under 15 which is underweight category....you should definately look into your nutrition first.
Next Steps
you need expert medical guidance and help.....please do get in touch for proper nutritional advice and exercises....doing things your own way would cause serious problems. Regards & take care.
