Neither contraceptive pills nor ipill causes PCOD. There are several myths surrounding pcod , pills and contraception and fertility. I will try and address a few but its too vast a topic to cover here.
PCOD is a lifestyle disease caused by neglecting to exercise, eating junk food or bakery products, ignoring rest, and stress factors that cause the internal hormonal balance to get upset. The insulin resistance makes it harder to lose weight and this leads to a long term risk of developing diabetes, heart disease etc.
The combined pill helps to protect the ovary and endometrium till you are ready to conceive. If you take care of exercise and correct nutrition you can manage your weight too so that when you wish to conceive you can do so more easily than if you don't care for these aspects of your health.
