Does clove oil cure cavity?
My dentist said I require RCT for one of my tooth. After that I have been applying clove oil and pain has reduced drastically. Should I continue with clove oil or go for RCT

Hello, See clove oil can reduce your pain for sure but that's not a permanent solution as it cannot cure the infection in cavity causing the pain. Please post the picture if possible and go for RCT as your doctor says.

Have you undergone the root canal procedure or u r applying clove oil without the root canal? I assume u havent undergone an RCT, so for a permanent solution please do undergo the root canal procedure you will not need the clove oil after that. The decay process will also stop and you vud be able to save the tooth.

Hey! Clove oil or any painkiller will reduce pain, but not permanently. It will only give you relief for a while. Treating the cause of pain i.e. by RCT is the only permanent solution for pain.
