Doctor took 15 X-ray during root canal
I did my root canal treatment today. The dentist took around 12 -14 X-ray in the entire treatment (2 on sitting 1 and 12 on sitting 2). Is the radiation harmful for me ?

Dental X ray works on the principle of ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable). Their intensity is very very low for it too cause any hazard or harm. Sometimes, the tooth is tricky and requires multiple x rays for accurate reading and treatment.
