The combination of pneumonia, coughing up a large amount of blood, unstable blood pressure and a glucose reading around 400 needs urgent hospital assessment. It is not suitable for reassurance or medication changes through a public question. Even if the bleeding has reduced, these findings need prompt review by your treating team.
Next Steps
Please go to an emergency department now, or alert your hospital team immediately if you are already admitted. Bring your reports, glucose and blood pressure readings, and all current medicines.
Health Tips
If bleeding is continuing, breathing is difficult, or you feel faint or confused, seek ambulance assistance and do not drive yourself. Do not delay care while waiting for an online consultation.
Kindly consult and give proper detailed history along with symptoms for evaluation and take proper timely treatment with relevant investigations if required.
This requires urgent hospital evaluation and likely hospitalisation.
Please go to an emergency department/hospital immediately, preferably with someone accompanying you.
Next Steps
Hospitalisation is advised for monitoring and treatment, especially due to blood in sputum, pneumonia, unstable BP and high blood sugar.
