I have had a wrist fracture 2 days ago. My doctor treated me with POP cast for four weeks as surgery is not an option for me. I am too much worried. Will this be healed without surgery? What are the chances of permanent deformity without surgery? Will I be able to go back to the previous state prior to my injury?
Please suggest !
TIA.

This Fracture will heal well without need for surgery. Just make sure that after the POP another xray is done and it shows the wrist in its proper position.
Hello
Could you also provide the x ray done after cast application.
You need to be vigilant about the reduction.
If the fracture reduction is lost then bone may malunite.
You need to keep repeating x rays yo check appropriate position.
Once bone heals you would need to do physiotherapy for regaining strength and function.
