Patanjali tooth paste  not cause discouration of teeth. In any Tooth paste abrasive is important to clean the teeth effectively but how you are using the Tooth brush is important. Need to brush only for 2 to 3 minutes. Should not brush forcefully. It leads abrasion. Tooth brush bristles matters more than your regular tooth paste.
Next Steps
tooth powder is better than tooth paste. (reason search in Google)
Health Tips
use smooth bristles tooth brush and brush for 3 minutes  2 times a day but apply light force.

Hello No study claims that it causes discolouration. Also its not medically loged. But according to my 14-15 years of experience in dentistry it causes discolouration of teeth.

You can use the patanjali tooth paste which is medicated, that one contains fluoride. Otherwise the natural one has a high amount of abrasive which can cause the wearing off of the enamel layer of tooth

Patanjali toothpaste causes more wear off of the outer layer of tooth; enamel. So better to not use it on long term basis

Patanjali toothpaste is more abrasive than the regular toothpaste that is why it will abrade the  enamel more along with the plaque . Ultimately your enamel which is white in color will become thinner and your 2nd inner layer (dentin) will show more which is yellow in colour. Thats why your teeth appears dark
Next Steps
Stop using it and u can use any other commercial flouridated toothpaste except the charcoal ones
