this region disc herniation becomes now more common among the people who have desk job work. first i will sugest you to consult physiotherapist .they will teach you the core stability exercise of your back .it will give stabilty to your spine . endurance exercise training make your back muscles capable of taking pressure for long hour sitting position . after that you have to make exercise as a habit in your life  to maintain muscle strength .so you dont feel any pain .
Next Steps
you have to take every 30 minutes break and do some walking and stretching .to avoid wear and tear on your spine and soft tissues of your spine . you have to move your body these is the ultimate slogan for great health while at work .beacause in sitting there is so much pressure coming on disc .if you want to reduce this then have to do some back walk and movement in between .
Health Tips
don't bend directly from your back if you want to take any thing from the floor. at home i suggest do back walk for 20 minutes daily .
