My son got his braces done last Saturday. From next day on he is experiencing pain while eating.
Is this normal? When will the condition improve? Is there something that we can do to improve the situation?

This is absolutely normal for a few days after keeping the brackets in place. If the pain is too much, you can give him an over-the-counter pain killer. Generally, by the third or fourth day things will start getting back to normal.
Yes this is normal.patients feel pain after braces.the mechanics is to apply forces on tooth to move with the help of braces.that force is responsible for discomfort.after a week or so condition improves in mostly cases as patient get used to braces.if pain is unbearable for time period take painkiller for relief

Yes pain post braces is very normal which indicated tooth movement
It last for about 4/5 days
You can give him painkillers
However if pain persist beyond that visit your dentist
It is common to have discomfort after braces. Usually it settles with in 2 weeks or so. You can give him soft food for a few days and ask him to take small bites
Health Tips
You can give a mild painkiller like crocin 500 for 2-3 days
