Difficulty in breathing

Asked for Male, 26 Years

I'm 26 yrs old. I'm not able to breathe through my nose at night. ( Sometimes day also) After I apply nasivion spray ,I'm able to breathe through nose in night. I feel I'm getting bad breathe because of this. My tongue is dry also. Kindly advice as im worried Thanks in advance

Hello! Your problem could be chronic sinusitis with or without allergic rhinitis. Another condition called rhinitis medicamentosa due to nasivion or otrivin or such similar drops occurs in which rebound nasal blockage occurs. Hence, please stop nasivion usage. A diagnostic nasal endoscopy will help in diagnosis. A topical steroid nasal spray can be useful in relieving symptoms gradually.
