My 2 yr old son suffering from diarrhea and fever from last night. He has habit of eating wall paint and picking up stones, we used to keep an eye on him but I think he might have eaten something. Please help me it's really difficult to find any Doctor in this lockdown, Everyone is busy with covid19 patient.

Hello.
Please specify the amount of stools done since last night.
For fever Syp Paracetamol (5 ml/ 250 g) 4 ml as and when required (temp > 100.4 Fahrenheit)
Give him ORS 50-100 ml after each loose stool.
Satchet Bifilac 1/2 satchet a day.
Syp Zn 20 - 5 ml 24 hourly
Keep cleanliness around.
His habits of eating wall paint needs to be treated with Iron after the fever/diarrhoea subsides.
Next Steps
Usually complaints like these take 3-4 days to subside

Give ors solution to drink.
Drop zn 20 1 ml once a day.
He seems to have PICA. Might well be anemic also.
Anemia and pica would be treated once his loose stools subside.
