Sir/Madam,My uncle was Sugar patient two years back right toes were removed and two months back left toes were removed. Meanwhile, doctors said his lungs was surrounded by water and two tubes were inserted and water was removed after discharge also it was aching him and buldging. What was the reason for this? Is this serious? Curable?

Toe amputation might have been done for diabetic foot. He may as well have peripheral vascular disease. Additionally seems he had pyothorax. Surely needs treatment at the hands of experts in hospital setting.
