Dextol while breastfeeding
Hi I got typhoid fever few days before I am a breastfeeding mother doctor prescribed me Dextol and azhythromycin doctor adviced me not to breastfeed until the course is over but due to baby crankiness without any option I gave milk will it cause any problem???

Both azithromycin and ceftriaxone (Dextol) can pass into breast milk but usually in very small amounts that rarely harm the baby, so a few feeds should not cause major problems. Monitor the baby for loose stools or unusual fussiness, and continue under your doctor’s advice.
