Typhoid- Fever
Hi,
I had typhoid 15 days back. I went to hospital, took antibiotics for typhoid and Sore throat(Azithromycin) for 5 days through veins. But still I am having fever at Night ( during sleeping time) and Morning though I am continuing 650mg Paracetamol thrice a day since the beginning of my knowledge of typhoid. Also I take 4-5 litres of fluids in a day.
So is fever after typhoid common? Or should I have to worry about it. I don't have any other problems apart from Fever (Almost 101-102°C). It has been 6 days since Doctors suggested me to stop taking antibiotics and continuing with Paracetamol.

HI there, good evening. I'm Dr.Yogesh Sharma. After taking intravenous medications for typhoid your are having recurrent high grade fevers. I advice you to take paracetamol only when you are having fever, don't take unnecessarily thrice a day.
