My brother had been detected with colonal cancer 5 year ago. He undergone a major surgery and after that chemotherapy. Currently he has check up half yearly. Is there chances of reoccurring or any other infection

Generally after 5 years chances of recurrence is very rare. But better to be on safe side to undergo follow up with clinical examination , Blood test for CEA and ultrasound abdomen once a year.
