Depression or hypothyroidism
Hello sir I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety in 2019, I was also advised to check thyroid levels at that time report was t3, t4, tsh normal, I was under treatment for three years, when I take antidepressants I used to feel better, recently 6 months my antidepressants were not working , my psychiatrist told me to get a thyroid test, the report was t3, t4 normal tsh 6, he said that I have subclinical hypothyroidism, coming to the point that I was been experiencing some symptoms like weight gain, puffy face, hair loss, fatigue similar to those of hypothyroidism but now the intensity of these symptoms increased along with other symptoms of hypothyroidism, I want to know whether it's only hypothyroidism or hypothyroidism+depression, should I need to get the treatment for only hypothyroidism or both hypothyroidism and depression please help
