Low levels of vitamin D are associated with an increased prevalence of clinical depression. But it hasn't been proven that taking vitamin d supplements will help in the management of depression. None the less, as your wife is having Vit D 'defeciency' I would suggest she take Vitamin D supplements, 60000 IU (1 capsule) once a week with lunch for 8 weeks, followed by once a month with lunch for a year and if not longer. Also ensure that she gets adequate sunexposure on her face and arms for at least 30 min each day between 10am and 2pm. Exposure to sunlight also helps with depression.

Hello. You take her to a good homoeopathic doctor in your locality for detailed case history and treatment. Homoeopathic treatment has got a solution for it. It has no side effects also.

She needs to take the vitamin supplements . Consult a doctor who can examine you and advise what needs to be done. All her problems could be because of deficiency of Vit D and B12.
