How to make sure that I never have to face depression or anxiousness again as i am finding it quite hard to focus on studies right now and my exams are just started. My last encounter of depression lasted just for around 2 months ? Is there any particular times a person experiences depressions in his life ?

Hello practo user
I can understand the difficulty of your situation that you are facing currently. During exam time it is seen that many of us face anxiety and stress to perform . You can try and maintain lists of the work that you need to do , tick them off once they are completed. Take short 5-10 minutes breaks during a 30-35 minute study session . In those 5-10 minutes you can practice deep breathing , walking around the house or even listening to some soothing music . Try and go for regular exercise , eat a healthy diet and maintain regular sleeping patterns . It is advisable that you seek help from a mental health professional for helping you formulate a treatment plan through which you can learn healthy and positive coping strategies and skills. You can also reach out to me through the practo app for any further help or guidance.
