Depression and stress
I am having problem in my relations both family and personal. I am having suicidal thoughts and constantly try to harm myself either by slapping myself or taking medicines. I know this sounds too drastic steps to be taken but i don't want to hurt myself mentally there is this constant headache which i feel and my head feels too heavy. I want to cry and yell but cant do as people around me are already too tensed. I want to seek help but i fear i might harm anyone. There is this constant negative feeling that nothing will work out as per my wish. I have already faced many problems making my parents accept my intercaste marriage. They are ok now and happy with it but asking to marry ASAP which is not possible due to some issues. I just want to run away from all people and staying alone. Please advice me

Problems are a part of every relation. Running away from them or harming yourself is not the solution. When we are suffering from relationship issues, our ability to deal with problems becomes clouded and we feel we just might not be able to get out of it. At such times we need an expert advise to guide us a proper path or to have someone who would understand our issues and help us deal with them in the best possible manner rather than taking such drastic steps of self harm.

Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help. I can understand your suitation. From your narration, I can see you are already inching towards your dream of marriaging your loved one. Things are slowly turning positive. Yes, there may be few more hurdles to cross..be confident. When your mind in disturbed, don't take any hasty decisions. What you need now is a strength to handle the emotional battle for few more yards . Suggest you to take a counseling support to figure out the reason for your emotional weakness and try a suitable solution to overcome that. Surely you will be able to succeed.

Feeling low, having crying spells, sleep and appetite disturbances, and difficulty in concentration and attention are some of the signs of Depression. Consult a Psychiatrist for a detailed assessment. It is likely with medication and counselings the symptoms will improve. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless consult a Psychiatrist immediately
