I understand how much worried you must be about facing critique from your school ( teachers and mates) but I assure you that you don't need to worry. Until the time you're comfortable with yourself, nothing matters! Also school management these days try to help their students, rather than screwing them,  Rest assured, you might at all be asked to discuss about your situation with a Counsellor affiliated with your school or your closest teacher, whoever is available and then you might be asked to take help from psychiatrist. In either case, we're always available to hear you out and help you and your eagerness to reach help is always encouraged!
Next Steps
consult with a psychiatrist for proper treatment

if your management and school is formed on humanistic foundation they will support yiu. if they don't like to support their students they will expel you. you will understand the reality of school. You don't have anything to be ashamed of. when you will be called just don't lie or hide the pain or try to be strong. don't deny writing that letter.

I understand that you're feeling anxious and worried about the situation. It's important to address these concerns in a thoughtful and strategic manner. Here are some steps you can consider taking: Gather Information: First, make sure you have accurate information about the situation. Confirm whether the principal has seen the letter and if any actions are being taken as a result. Review School Policies: Familiarize yourself with your school's policies regarding student confidentiality, mental health, and support services. This will help you understand your rights and options. Talk to a Trusted Adult: If you have a counselor, teacher, or another adult you trust at school, consider talking to them about your concerns. They may be able to provide guidance, advocate for you, and help you understand the school's perspective. Seek Support: If you're struggling with depression, it's important to reach out for support. Speak to a mental health professional, a therapist, or a counselor who can provide you with guidance and coping strategies

Hi. Please try to stay calm. Things are changing now with respect to mental health, stigma regarding mental illness is reducing, specially in an educated society. I don’t think depression can be a reason to be expelled from school rather you will heard and people would help you out. Stay positive.
