Hi, Depression is a result of multifactorial causes - inherent genetic tendencies, interpersonal issues, career struggles, financial crisis. At times thyroid dysfunction or certain vitamin deficiencies also cause depression like symptoms. Usually conventional medicines (allopathy) cater only to the symptoms, hence giving relief so long as you take the medicines. You may also opt for Integrated treatment method - starting homoeopathy medicines along with your ongoing allopathy medications. Homoepathy medicines treat the root cause of disease, help reduce or maintain the lower allopathy doses thereby preventing their side effects and provide long term cure benefits. for further queries, you may contac me via Practo online consult portal.
Next Steps
It advisable to approach a Homoeopathic Psychiatrist along with the ongoing allopathy medicines.
Health Tips
It is advisable to get Thyroid profile, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D levels checked. 2) 30-60 minutes of physical activity - gym, jogging, brisk walk, outdoor sports, yoga, dance will help you release happy hormones and tackle the blues.
