Cavity can be filled if its not too deep. There is an option called root canal treatment, in which we can save the tooth even if the normal filling is not possible! Once an x-ray of the tooth has to be taken, to confirm its severity. If the tooth is fully decayed, then it has to be removed and can replace the tooth.
