Best time to visit a dentist during pregnancy is 2nd trimester. Apart from that, incase of emergencies, will look into medical history.

Getting dental filling is safe in pregnancy. But better to get it done in second trimester. First trimester is avoided because of chances of miscarriage. Once you reach in third trimester it’s difficult to lie down on dental chair for long. However dental emergencies such as RCT and extraction can be treated anytime.

Dental Restoration (filling) is a simple procedure and does not require any post treatment medications/antibiotics. It is a safe procedure during pregnancy.
