Take a second opinion. Surgery , if it means extracting the tooth, might work. But it won't reduce pain.
Pain may be due to low immune response, or resistance to medicines against bacterial infection.
You can post pre and post rct x-rays for a opinion, or visit another dentist for second opinion.
