Please do not panic. Dengue is a viral infection. In majority of cases it improves well without any major issue. You don't require any antibiotics. Please make sure you drink at least 3 to 4 litres of water and fluids in a day. If you have fever you can take Paracetamol 500 or Dolo 650 mg every 6 to 8 hours. If you have no fever just drink plenty of water and fluids. Please check your CBC every alternate day for the next 1 week. There will be some amount of fluctuation in your platelet count which is expected in dengue. However this normally recovers on its own and platelets come back to normal. Only If you notice that you are having very high fever which is not subsiding or you develop severe abdominal pain or vomiting or dizziness, please get in touch with a doctor.
Next Steps
Drinking adequate fluid is a must. You may feel some amount of lethargy and weakness so take adequate rest.
