Hello I have noted your concern, Please watch for vomiting nausea and dehydration and monitor is cbp report specifically hemoglobin and platelets levels and ask the patient if he is having any blood in stools or urine or while sneezing, coughing or vomitings, altered color vomiting coffee color vomiting or black color vomiting always suspect a gastrointestinal bleed
Next Steps
Continue the medicine as prescribed by your doctor but follow the steps as listed below,
Health Tips
Keep him hydrated well, plenty of oral liquids fresh juices if he is non diabetic you can give figs kiwi papaya citrus fruits Just see if he is taking any blood thinners and make sure If any further drop in platelet counts, immediately go to hospital and see a physician if platelets drop less than 50,000 or less than 30-20000 he might require platelet transfusion, anyways dont get panic, it will get imrpove in sometime, these are absolutely treatable condition, but you should seek medical attention before it’s too late May he get well soon, Wish him a speedy recovery If you have any further queries kindly consult through video or audio consultation Thank you
