Delivery of baby
Are there any chances of normal delivery when the AFI is 3. Doctors are suggesting for operation. Other things are normal in ultrasound report. Jaundice medication is also being done and the weight is around 3 kg. Should I go for operation, expected date of delivery in ultrasound is 20.03.2024

Normal delivery will be a bad choice. With AFI of 3 cm the placental perfusion is already compromised. During labour pains it will be hampered further and the baby may suffer.

Chances of normal delivery will depend on various factors . But as AFI is less and you are taking medications for jaundice , there are chances of fetal distress. So if you would like trial of labour it should be at a place where continuous fetal monitoring is available
