Delay in periods about 15 days
For the past year, my periods were coming continuously, but this time they are delayed. My expected date was the 7th, but they still haven’t come. In the last two months, I had sex, but it was protected. I am also taking medicine for fatty liver. I did a pregnancy test once using Prega News, and it came out negative. Still, my periods have not started. I am a bit worried because this has never happened before. I don’t know whether it is due to the medicines, stress, or some other reason. Will you please suggest some appropriate solution to this.

Once again you do your urine pregnancy test with early morning sample. It may be due to pregnancy, stress, dietary factors or hormonal imbalance.Multiple factors come into account. If you have unprotected this time better once again you do your test in early morning hours with first urine sample and connect..

Is the pregnancy test is negative you can connect for a prescription to help you get your periods You need investigations to find out the reason for the delay if there is no pregnancy The most common reason is lack of exercise and weight gain Other reasons can be deranged thyroid and prolactin levels and polycystic ovarian syndrome

The delay could be due to reasons like stress, body weight changes, pregnancy, medication, hormonal imbalance, thyroid issues etc You can repeat the pregnancy test and if it is negative, you can consult a Gynecologist, who can prescribe a medicine for your periods to occur. If your cycles persist to be irregular then you can get evaluated to rule out the cause.
