Do UPT. You mentioned protected sex , but can have chances of contraception failure ( depends on type of contraception used) It also depends on cycles whether 28 day cycle or 35 days cycle.

If she has a cycle duration of 28-30 days chance of pregnancy is unlikely.Since the periods is delayed by 5 days you can do a pregnancy test and see the result
