Hi
Calcium and iron always interfere in absorption... it's better to take seperate.
If you are using pure date syrup without added sugar or anything else than good.

Hi.
If you mix date syrup in milk , the absorption of iron gets affected to a small extent.
You can use the date syrup as an accompaniment with Roti, Bread, mix with oats porridge, make it into laddu or halwa. You can also eat the syrup as it is and drink a glass of warm water or lemon juice.
Use the dates syrup with doesn’t have any artificial sugar or preservatives.
Greetings from the day !
Calcium and iron should never be taken together as they hinder absorption.
If you wish to take date syrup which is without sugar or any added stuff better to take it with vitamin C rich foods like lemon or amla.
So iron will be better absorbed
