Hello,
There is no strict fixed rule book for foods to include or foods to exclude. Some general advices are present. But what to eat in what quantity and in what frequency is completely dependent on what is person's current blood sugar or how well hbA1c is maintained and risk associated with Diabetes. Eg.Because of this one person may be allowed to eat fruits like banana etc or may have to stop taking any fruit completely for certain period of time.
Diet for diabetic patients keeps on changing as per current blood sugar , HBA1c.
