Dark circles following retinization and sun exposure are most likely due to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) with peri-orbital skin irritation. First priority is barrier repair and sun protection, then gradual depigmenting therapy. Try to connect online,,and i will suggest you proper care for your dark circles,, don't worry it's not a big deal..... 1️⃣ Barrier Repair (for 2–3 weeks initially): Ceramide -based under-eye moisturizer twice daily Avoid retinoids in peri-orbital area temporarily 2️⃣ Morning: Broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or above) around eyes Vitamin C (low strength, gentle formulation) What to Avoid: Direct retinoid application under eyes Excessive rubbing Strong chemical peels in peri-orbital region For further queries you can connect with me online..and you will be more satisfied..try it out.Stay healthy and safe 👍🏻😊.

Dark circles to be frank need time to disappear as these are also related with a multiple factors like nutritional, iron or Vitamin B12 deficiency and inadequate sleep, stress factor and also due to hyperpigmentation. Yes external creams can provide a cosmetic look but need to correct internal underlying causes. You can go for a detailed case history in Homeopathy for a holistic treatment.

Hello, Dark circles caused by retinization (retinoid irritation) and sun exposure are usually due to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and skin barrier damage in the under-eye area. The under-eye skin is very thin and sensitive, so overuse of retinoids or sun exposure can increase pigmentation. The first step is to allow the skin barrier to recover before starting any active treatment. Suggesting you few things which you should start doing~ ✔ Step 1: Stop irritation • Pause retinoid use around the under-eye area • Use a gentle moisturizer (barrier-repair type) • Avoid rubbing or exfoliating ✔ Step 2: Strict sun protection • Broad-spectrum sunscreen SPF 50 daily • Reapply if outdoors • Sunglasses when outside ✔ Step 3: Pigmentation control (after irritation settles) • Mild Vitamin C-based eye serum • Niacinamide-containing cream • Avoid strong bleaching agents without supervision Improvement is gradual ..usually visible over 6–8 weeks. NOTE: If pigmentation is: • Genetic • Due to thin skin showing blood vessels • Due to chronic allergies Then treatment approach differs. So correct diagnosis is important before starting strong creams.
Next Steps
If pigmentation persists despite sun protection and barrier repair, a detailed skin evaluation can help determine whether it is inflammatory, vascular, or genetic in origin. You may consult me on Practo for personalised guidance and a safe treatment plan.
