D dimer parameter not going down
After covid got effected my d dimer parameter getting flacuate,while admitted in hospital doctor given some injection then it come down slightly but currently I am taking blood thinner medicine and wysolone 20 -20 , yesterday taken blood test d dimer got increased from 1.6 to 2.06 How to control this

D dimer takes time to come down. And the value is not abnormally high. It is important to know when you were detected Covid positive and what are other symptoms.

Please ask your doctor if he is also as much worried about your 2.06 D dimer as you are . Just to put the record straight, normal D dimer level is less than 0.5 but there is no CRITICAL UPPER LEVEL above which patient is considered critical. When D dimer rises , it is in hundreds.
