Three months ago, my serum creatinine was 0.89 and eGFR was 114. I got tested today, and the results show serum creatinine at 1.03 and eGFR at 97. I have been following a normal diet for these three months. My question is: why has there been such a change in creatinine and eGFR levels over this period? Is this something to be worried about?
It called a cofficent of variation of serum creatinine it's expected to be around 10-15% of variation in the absence of any urinary,USG changes the values can considered to be nornal

A change from 0.89 to 1.03 in creatinine, and 114 to 97 in eGFR, is a small shift, and both readings are still within the normal range for most adults. Numbers like these can vary a little with hydration, recent exercise, protein intake the day before the test, or just lab-to-lab differences.
Next Steps
Drink enough water before any repeat test and avoid a heavy protein meal or intense workout the evening before, then recheck in a couple of months to confirm it's stable.
Health Tips
See a physician or nephrologist promptly if you notice swelling in your legs, reduced urine output, or your creatinine keeps rising on repeat tests.
