Ct scan pns
I was suffering from nasal polyps from past 10 months back at September 2020 my neurologist told me to go for mri scan and mr venogram and I was diagnosed with right maxillary and sphenoid sinusitis after that I tried lot of homeopathy and Ayurvedic medicines but it didn't worked recently I went to one ent doctor and he told me to do CT scan pns , now I am bit scared as I already did two mri scans tell me how safe it is to for CT scan and how harmful it is will you recommend me to for CT pns and if any alternatives is there please tell me ..

Ct scans today carry far lesser risk than what u must have learnt from tv news ... Plz don't be scared ..  ct has to be done only in cases where we are planning to operate ... Otherwise if u have an mri and no surgery is planned then this is sufficient ...plz don't be scared to get a ct ... But only for the right reasons
