The condition is described in Medical literature. Actually pregnancy can't be hidden from Ultrasound. I think what happens is that the patient doesn't know her LMP. She thinks that she had her periods 2 or 3 months earlier but she actually had her periods recently. She gets a Sonography done and gets a negative report.
By chance she conceives soon after sonography. Then she starts telling that she had got sonography done but her pregnancy was missed.
