Can covid test comes positive again when isolation period is over? Is rtpcr detect dead virus? After how much time I have to go for retest? Retest required or not if we don't have any symptoms?

These days repeat RTPCR is not being done. Ten days isolation is good enough (that is , if after 10 days patient has no symptoms and he did not need hospitalization).

Rtpcr can amplify and detect dead viral particles as well.. It can be positive upto 2-3 months in some cases.. Its better not to retest.. 2 weeks quarantine is enough.. Of u dont have any further symptoms need not test unless its mandatory for any specific purposes such as international travel

Retest is not required unless covid negative certificate is asked for in office or for travel. 14 days of isolation is enough.
