Hi, thanks for sharing. A person's personality or preferences do not particularly need solutions. If you are an introvert and like that about yourself or are not facing any issues, it might actually be something you can accept and embrace about yourself. However, if you would like to connect with more people or socialise, you can try: 1. Reconnecting with family/ relatives/ old friends 2. Finding people in your neighbourhood who you can trust 3. Finding common interest groups on Facebook (example- people who like the same things/ TV shows/ activities etc that you do) 4. Join a hobby or exercise class 5. Take group counseling 6. Travel with a group of solo travelers 7. If you find it hard to communicate with people, you can practice your lines/ conversation in front of a mirror or write in your journal It is okay to be an introvert if you are not causing any harm to self or others. I work with Indian adults from the age of 20-60 over online video calls. Feel free to contact for counseling/ psychotherapy. Hi... Psychotherapy/Counselling works on a different plane altogether. Your personality traits like introversion/extroversion do not impact the outcome of it. Midlife crises is a broad term we attribute to issues an individual faces when s/he reaches halfway through their life span. It may be filled with second thoughts and some regrets but ultimately it is our own perception which gives meaning to our existence and reality.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. CBT along with Lifestyle Guidance and Motivational Counselling using Existentialist Approach is required.

Introvert nature is not a problem until it starts creating issues in your interpersonal relationships. Therapy can help identify underlying issues in the thought pattern and core beliefs. Midlife can be made the most enjoyable time instead of feeling like a crisis. Just a little help may be needed.
Next Steps
You can book a session.

Introversion and extraversion are traits of personality. Being an introvert is not a problem. When in a midlife crisis we feel the need to do something big to step out of our comfort zone. We crave change due to the inner turmoil of emotions we might be feeling because of the things we never did or tried. Or because of a recent major life event. This need for  change that arises in us could be related to wanting  changes in personality,  identity, lifestyle, or a want to feel a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction from one's life in general.
Next Steps
Evaluating where you currently are in your life and where you want to be (or where you thought you would be) and coming up with steps to fill out that gap will help. You can do this on your own or even with the help of a therapist.
