My mom 64 years has coughing since a week.. took medication, salt water gargle etc but no change...1) Can she take Ascoril syrup and 2) Can I use ascoril syrup for normal coughing

considering your mothers age you should get her evaluated by a doctor
While ascoril wont do any harm it wont help in an infection or an obstructive cause
Hence better to evaluate clinically first and investigated on basis of clinical findings
